It is my pleasure, and with some regret, to announce that Mrs Katie Thompson will be leaving us to take up a position as Assistant Principal at St Mary’s Young for 2021. Katie has been a member of staff since 1994 and has made immeasurable contributions to Sacred Heart, as a teacher, REC, AP, colleague and friend. We will miss her dearly but we wish her every happiness and blessing.
Once a Sacred Heart Staff member always a Sacred Heart Staff member.
As the weather shifts to warmer days we will begin the transition to the summer uniform for the remainder of the school term. If students choose to continue to wear the winter uniform then it is to include all components, namely the tie. We will allow two weeks for the transition and return to school in Term 4 on Wednesday 14 October in the summer uniform. Please consult the uniform policy for the correct items when purchasing new items.
Regards, Mrs Nicky Trinder Principal

From Wednesday this week students in Years 8 and 9 will make their elective subject selections for 2021. This follows internal information sessions where students have learnt about the subjects and the process. Please take the time to discuss their options and their choices with them. All information is on the students Subject Selections Googel Classroom.
Please note that just because a subject is offered on a line this does not mean that it will run. Only Four subjects from each line will run as 'electives' in 2021. If you child does not receive their first or second selection they will be interviewed by Ms Marsay to determine the best option for them. This may involve new subject choices or the option of distance education.
Students should receive their notification of classes before the end of Term 3.
If you are concerned please contact Ms Marsay.
