Currently we are planning for 2021 and the arrangement of class groupings. If you have a specific reason for our consideration in the placement of your child, please make an appointment to see me asap. We endeavour to make decisions on what is best for the child in terms of academic placement, social groupings and specific needs. We will strive to accommodate requests if we are able. At this stage we are not 100% sure of teacher placement and staffing arrangements. We do wish Mr Winsor happy Long Service Leave as he is taking leave for the final 4 weeks of the school term. Mrs Winsor will make up the additional classroom allocation and Ms Buchanan will assume the coordinator’s role in the run up to Christmas.
Congratulations to our Sacred Heart kids who graduated from Year 12 at Hennessy Catholic College Young last Thursday night. We are immensely proud of the way they have conducted themselves in this challenging year. Congratulations to Taylah Dickinson, Ella Murphy, Ella Ronning, Ella Baker, Max Tiernan, Jack Douglas, Lachlan Fraser and Jake Sheather. We wish them the riches of God’s blessings as they set out on this new and exciting part of their lives. Once a Sacred Heart kid, always a Sacred Heart kid!
The P & F are being resourceful in the manner in which they raise valuable funds for our school. Currently we have the paver drive happening. Flyers/order forms were sent home and we hope that many families will take the opportunity to be part of the fabric of our school, immortalised in a paver! If you missed the order form please contact the school and please pass this information onto past students and families that you know might be interested. A huge thank you to the P & F who are so invested in providing the very best resources for our school. Already they are putting planning in place for our biannual fete which will hopefully be held in March next year. Watch this space for how you can help!
REMINDER………. ALL students are still required to bring a water bottle that can be refilled at the taps as needed. As the weather has been warmer it is obvious that many students are coming to school without a drink bottle and require plastic cups to maintain the necessary fluid intake. Please leave a bottle in their bags so that they have the opportunity to replenish their water supplies throughout the day.
Remember if you have to choose between being extraordinary or kind......be extraordinary kind!

Dear Parents,
Did you know that Instagram is the fastest growing social media site in the world. It has a HUGE audience and attracts at least 2 million new users a month.
As parents it would be timely to check in with your children so see how much they know (or don’t know) about Instagram.
In particularly, do you know if your children are adhering to the recommended age restrictions of 13 years.
Attached is a fantastic Safety Guide from Safe on Social which would provide a great tool for you and a great discussion starter with your children.
