Term 4 School Fees 2021
12 Oct 2021
Term 4 Fees were emailed out to all families today.
Fees are due to be paid in full by Tuesday 9th November 2021.
We return for TERM 4 tomorrow TUESDAY 5 October 2021. Stage 3 restrictions continue until further advice. Please see following announcement from Catholic Education about COVID-19 protocols currently in place in accordance with NSW Health and Government directives.
Sacred Heart Central School follows various COVID-19 Safe requirements as advised by NSW Health which seek to prevent and minimise the transmission of COVID-19.
The safety and wellbeing of students and staff is the primary consideration of any decision related to re-opening schools.
Learning Delivery Model
To provide a safe learning environment for students, minimise opportunities for transmission and enable the most effective contact tracing and containment measures in the event of a COVID-19 case, schools will be required to adopt a cohort model.
These requirements are designed to:
minimise unnecessary physical interaction between students on school grounds;
ensure that students learn and play only with those in their cohort, wherever possible;
minimise opportunities for transmission and enhance contact tracing; and,
minimise the potential for widespread infection across the school and wider school community.
Staff and students should bring their own masks where possible.
Masks are mandatory for all staff.
Masks are mandatory for all students Year 7 and above.
Masks are strongly recommended for Primary students but are not mandatory.
All our school staff have been encouraged to be vaccinated, and I can advise that many of our staff are vaccinated or in the process of doing so.
Due to Australian privacy law requirements, we are unable to advise the vaccination status of individual school or school staff.
Unfortunately due to the latest COVID- Safe restrictions we are unable to conduct our Transition Program as originally outlined. This is disappointing for all our new students and families, as it has always been a wonderful way to preapre new students for the transition. We are hopeful that there is the possibility that we may be able to conduct the program in some form in the coming term. We will advise all families as soon as we are allowed to plan and conduct the programs. They will most likely be abbreviated versions but last year they were very successful.
At this stage we are also not permitted to have visitors on site for enrolment interviews or school tours. Once again we hope this restriction will be lifted when we return in Term 4. We will make contact to rebook interviews as soon as we are given permission.
We are very excited about all the new families and students who will be joining us and we are very lucky to inform the community that we have been granted two Kindergarten and two Year 7 classes. This is a wonderful opportunity for our new students to learn in smaller class groups. We are thankful to Catholic Education for their continued support of our school community.
