We have made it to the last week of Term1 and we could not have squeezed any more into a busy and successful term. Thank you to our students, staff and families for their support of all that we have accomplished this term. We have had carnivals, liturgies, events, sporting representation, community activities and we have managed to do lots of teaching and learning as well. Looking back over the newsletters for this term showcases all of the amazing achievements of our students and staff.
Today the school community has shared in the prayerful presentation of the Passion of our Lord by our Year 9 students. It was a reverent and respectful reenactment of the Passion. Our wonderful Year 9 students have done an amazing job in preparing for this school tradition and have done themselves proud. Mrs Maxwell was untiring in her determination to provide a presentation that touched the community and affirmed the importance of Holy Week for us all. Thank you to Mrs Maxwell and Mr Forsyth for their guidance and instruction. Please give some thought to joining the students for the Parish presentation at 11am on Good Friday.
Tomorrow, Friday 7 April we will begin our well-deserved holidays. Students will return on Wednesday 26 April (after the ANZAC Day holiday). We hope everyone has a restful and relaxing break and that we all travel safely.
All students are invited and encouraged to attend the ANZAC Day March on Tuesday 25 April. Details will be sent out via COMPASS the week prior to the March. We hope this is an opportunity for our students to acknowledge the sacrifice of our Defence Forces in past conflicts to keep our beautiful country safe and free.
We have had the very best afternoon in the autumn sun playing tabloids to celebrate Harmony Day and the inclusion of all students regardless of culture, creed, beliefs or ideals. Our senior students were delightful in their care and encouragement of our younger students. It was so lovely to have all our students and staff enjoying each other’s company and the gorgeous weather. Our K to 10 community is one of the nest parts of our school.
We hope everyone has a happy and holy Easter and celebrates the Risen Lord.
love. Stay safe if you are travelling and we look forward to everyone returning full of renewed energy for another action-packed term.
Remember there are always opportunities to be kind. Strive to have the courage to be kind whenever possible.
God Bless.

Please be aware that students with poor attendance, behaviour and/or with incomplete tasks and class work will not be allowed to attend these opportunities. For students who are away for any reason or who do attend these opportunities, it is an expectation that missed work is caught up and completed within a reasonable time frame after returning to school.
