UPCOMING EVENTS
Next term Stage Two has the Trent Barrett league and league tag gala day. If you wish to attend the day please complete the compass event that is now available. This is due by the 27th of July.
Our stage one students have also been invited to a league tag day. There will be no contact and mixed teams. Please complete the compass event that is now available. Closing date for nominations is the 27th of July.

Girls Rugby 7s
Congratulations to all the players who attended the Girls Rugby 7s day on Tuesday. Everyone played with heart and skill, and had a fun experience. Thanks to Mr Murray for assisting with many roles on the day and leading up to the competition.

Friday Sport - Sport Choices Block
We have a 3 week block of sport choices from weeks 3-5 inclusive. If your child is in an activity that requires payment, you will receive an event notification. Please make prompt payment for your child to attend their chosen activity.
Representative Sports
A reminder to keep checking the Secondary Sports Google Classroom page and Compass for all notifications and processes for registration for the many representative sports coming up this term.
Attendance at Extracurricular Sporting Events
Attending extracurricular events as a Sacred Heart Representative is a privilege. Please be aware that students with poor attendance, behaviour and/or with incomplete tasks and class work will not be allowed to attend these opportunities. For students who are away for any reason or who do attend these opportunities, it is an expectation that missed work is caught up and completed within a reasonable time frame after returning to school.

It's that time of year again and the art show season is fast approaching. This year we have new categories which include children’s art with great prizes. Soroptimists would be grateful if you could circulate this in your newsletter and encourage students directly to enter.
You can ENTER ONLINE HERE or fill in the attached entry form. Please read the terms and conditions of entry carefully as some details have changed since last year.
With new sections and over $6500 in prize money on offer, this years' show is sure to be highly competitive.
Prize winners will be announced at our Opening Night on Friday, 1st September. We encourage all entrants to support this event as a token of respect to the sponsors who continue to support regional artists and their creative communities.
Written/online entries must be received by COB 28 August 2023
Artwork should be delivered to Cootamundra Town Hall, 81 Wallendoon St, Cootamundra NSW 2590 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday 28 August to Wednesday 30 August.
